About Sam
Sam Winder is the co-founder of Clearly Built, bringing 10 years of hands-on construction experience specialising in timberwork, decking, fencing and outdoor structures.
Before establishing Clearly Built, Sam owned and operated Lakes Outdoor Spaces and The Side Gate Company, gaining practical experience in construction, preparing quotations, managing trades and overseeing projects from initial planning through to completion.
Clearly Built was founded alongside his childhood friend and fellow co-founder, Sam Nicholson. Having been best friends since childhood, the two share a passion for improving honesty, transparency and trust within the construction industry.
Today, Sam combines his practical construction knowledge with a customer-focused approach, managing Clearly Built’s website and educational content alongside providing independent quote reviews and advisory project oversight.
